Costco has given us a lot of famous “drops” over the years — the $1.50 hot dog combo, the 27-pound wheel of cheese, the seasonal Kirkland Signature everything. But nobody saw this one coming: Snoop Dogg just landed his own chips in the snack aisle, and shoppers are already treating it like a limited-edition sneaker release.
The chips are called Snoop Box Kettle Chips, a collab between Snoop Dogg, Rap Snacks, and Do The Right Thing Snacks, and they’re currently a Costco exclusive. If your warehouse has them, you’re one of the lucky few — for now.
What’s In the Box
The variety box comes with 36 individual 1oz bags for $18.99 (down from $19.99), split across three flavors: Sour Cream, Cheddar & Ranch; Maple BBQ; and “All In,” Snoop’s own spin on an all-dressed chip loaded with salt and vinegar, cheddar, BBQ, onion, and garlic. That’s basically every chip flavor you’ve ever loved, crammed into one bag.
Here’s the part that’s turning heads, though: these are marketed as the “better-for-you” option in the kettle chip world. They’re gluten-free, made with 100% avocado oil, and contain no artificial ingredients, trans fats, or added sugars. Snoop himself put it simply when the line launched: “We’re giving our communities options that still hit on taste, speak to our language and support a healthier lifestyle.”

Translation: this isn’t just a celebrity name slapped on a bag for a quick cash grab. Rap Snacks CEO James Lindsay led the collab, and the brand has spent years building a reputation for flavor-forward, budget-friendly snacks — so pairing up with Snoop for a Costco-exclusive drop feels like a genuinely strategic move, not just a gimmick.
Where to Find Them (For Now)
Snoop Box Kettle Chips debuted in March at Costco locations in six states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Alaska. Snoop even made a personal appearance at an Issaquah, Washington Costco this spring to hype the launch himself — because apparently even a music icon shows up for a good chip drop.
There’s no confirmed nationwide rollout yet, but the brand has said expansion is likely based on demand. If you’ve been searching your local warehouse and coming up empty, it might just be a matter of time — or a good reason for a road trip to the nearest Pacific Northwest location. This isn’t Snoop’s first trip into the food aisle. Fingers crossed the kettle chips have a smoother ride, because honestly, they sound better than most bakery-section trends we’ve covered lately, including Costco’s viral chicken tenders.
