Our Top 5 Costco Food Court Items!

The Costco food court—a place that might not be fancy, but it’s got a dedicated following. You see, some folks find themselves in dire need of sustenance after navigating those bustling aisles, hauling gigantic mayo jars, and hoisting gallons of laundry detergent. It’s a hunger that even the most generous sample can’t quell.

Others, though, come for the affordable, generously sized meals, and some of them are surprisingly good. Then there are those items that should probably retire, like the beloved but now discontinued Polish sausage (we miss you, old friend).

To save you from any post-shopping heartache and potential heartburn, we took the plunge, snagged a Costco card, and ordered one of everything. Here’s how it all stacked up.

You can’t go wrong with ice cream or frozen yogurt, and Costco’s berry sundae gets it right. It’s smooth, creamy, and strikes the perfect balance of sweetness. The tangy berry drizzle cuts through the richness of the vanilla yogurt, making it a delightful treat after a round of hot dogs.

4: Churro

Costco’s pizza may not be world-class, but it’s a perfect match for the moment when you need a quick, oversized slice. Soft dough and ample cheese make it a guilty pleasure worth indulging in. Stick to the plain cheese for the full experience.

2: Chicken Bake

A Hot Pocket that’s gone through a bizarre transformation, and it’s now packed with chicken, three kinds of cheese, bacon, and Caesar salad dressing. It’s like a culinary identity crisis, right? But here’s the twist – it tastes like someone took a giant breadstick, scooped it out, and generously filled it with Chunky Pub Style Chicken Pot Pie™ soup. And guess what? People are going nuts for it! It’s proof that sometimes, deliciousness comes from the weirdest flavor experiments.

1: Hot Dog

Costco’s legendary $1.50 hot dog and soda combo takes the top spot. It’s a food court classic for a reason. The frankfurter is large, the bun is soft, and the value is unbeatable. While it may have a hint of “cheap hot dog” texture, it’s still a winner in our book.
